Sierra Leone is a country in West Africa. I was a Peace Corps Volunteer math teacher at the Bo Secondary School for Boys from 1972-1975. This is a picture of a small Sierra Leone village, not one of Bo. Bo is the capital of the Southern Province, about 200 km (150 miles) upcountry from Freetown. My house which was on the school grounds, had running water as well as electricity. The major roads in Bo were paved.
