Even extremely heavy cables with lengths of 1000 meters or more can be laid rationally and quickly with very little manpower. The difficult and slow process of pulling, involving pulling the head of the cable and which resulted in high forces and pressures at bends, is now “out”.

What is “in” is the easy and fast pull and push method. It involves low investment and is undoubtedly a greater success.

Capstan winches TL 2020

With these lightweight and mobile capstan winches, telecommunications and power cables may be readily laid.

The capstan winches are driven by a petrol engine the twin loop capstan system guarantees a constant line pull and pulling speed.

The paying-out of the steel rope is power assisted by a reverse gear. When no tension is applied to the rope, the paying-out stops automatically.

A dynamometer with automatic overload cutout or an electronic monitor with data printout of length, pulling force and pulling speed can be provided.

The most up-to-date capstan winches. Hydraulically driven with a variable delivery pump.

Constant line pull and pulling speed and simple operating procedures allow smooth and precise cable laying.

The paying-out of the steel rope is power assisted by a reverse gear, when no tension is applied to the rope the paying-out stops automatically.

A dynamometer with automatic overload cutout or and electronic monitor with data printout of length, line pull and speed can be supplied as an option.

The winch is installed on a single axle trailer with adjustable towing bar for max. 80 km/h. The machine has a lockable cover of reinforced fiber plastics.

These capstan winches can be supplied with petrol engine or with diesel “silent Pack” engine.
