Peggy Curran - Lawn suffering
Exhibit recalls era when grass was cut, not smoked ... Outside the
museum, the number 325,293,680 "carved" in the high
grass in Phyllis Lambert's scrawl indicates the number of
blades it took to grow, while a hidden loudspeaker emits the
lawn's bilingual, seductive invitations. "Sit on me. Run your
fingers through my blades. Roll on me. Dominate me. Walk
all over me." CCA
