Well everyone's probably heard of the dreaded mellisa virus, well what do you do if you suspect you have a virus 1st: Don't send any files or emails to any one, let all other users be awhere of the problem, shut down the computer .2nd Do not open any email attachments from unknown sources, most computer virus's come by means of attachments eg the lastest virus comes in the form of a supposed picture of the attractive Russian Tennis player Anna Kornikova before opening any attachment rule of thumb scan it, 1st check who its from if its from someone you know are they in a habit of emailing you attachments if not i'd be very suspicious of any of these attactments, so happy web surfing everyone and be very very careful 3rd Ensure you have a good virus protection system
Sometimes its good also to check whether your insurance will cover you in case of lost revenue or damages caused. Its interesting to find out what policies insurance companies have on companies who have any Y2K problems please don't leave it till the last minute to find out any bad news.
