My name is Rui Miguel Lourenço Antunes, I'm 23 (24 on 17-FEB-98), I was born in Lourenço Marques, Mozambique, and I live in Odivelas, 5 minutes away from Lisbon.

I graduated from the Applied Portuguese and Foreign Languages Course  (applied to Management and Law)in June  1996  at the  Portuguese Catholic University.  As I finished my graduation, and thanks to the Marketing subject that I attended in my final year, I applied to the MBA (Marketing focus) also at UCP,  and got in, thus becoming one of the youngest Portuguese MBA students ever (at 22).

I am very interested in the Information Technology area, and began my career at Intercabo (subsidiary of Philips and U.I.H., an American multinational), a cable TV operator, in the respective Marketing Dept. in July 1996.

Unfortunately, Philips decided to divest from the cable TV area, which made the project go down the drain. Therefore, I am presently coordinating a department of a small Cascais-based service providing company, VasQgest, whose main customers are telecommunications operators and entities.

After finishing my MBA, in July '98, I expect to work in the  Marketing/Product Management area in a large company, preferrably in the IT area, or in the Consumer Products area
