TRAGIC INVESTMENT STRATEGY

At TRAGIC we have an investment strategy that ensures that we will have a diversified selection of companies from a number of investment styles. Using CDREFs every 3 months we produce a series of company lists that give us growth, value and smaller companies. We also produce a list of companies that have a low price to research ratio so that we can have a look at some technology based companies as well.

TRAGIC SELECTION PROCESS

The 4 lists mentioned above are sent to members at the beginning of the month. At the next meeting the members are expected to list their top 10 selections from these lists or nominate any companies that are not on the lists. 10 points will be given to the top selection down to 1 point for the tenth selection. The top 25-30 companies will make it through to the next round of voting. At the next meeting each member will list their top 5 companies and the same process as before is undertaken with the top 8-10 companies making it through to the final round of voting. The next month the top 3 companies are nominated by members with points being doubled for those members who actually attend the meeting. The company with the most points at the end of the 3rd meeting is the selection for purchase.
