| Treasurer's report: | The treasurer reported a downturn in the portfolio after a few months of increasing profits. The fund dropped 4.54% compared to a fall in the FT All Share of 5.57%. It was felt
that we had a good balance of stocks and it was pointed out that at least we did outperform the index again!. It was confirmed that LP was now a registered member of the club. His first months money will be paid by cheque and his contribution has been included at this months price. Graphs showing performance of the fund were also presented to the members. |

| A.O.B. | With the introduction of a new member conversations once again turned to the possibility of attracting new members. Members were then asked if they would consider attending the Investors Chronicle Expo 2000, Investors Services Workshop on the 21st and 22nd of October at a cost of £10 per person. |
