On February 16, Ireland Post issued a sheetlet featuring the popular birds definitive stamps. The birds on 15 stamps are: Stonechat, Lapwing, Gannet, Corncrack, Magpie, Coldcrest, Kingfisher, Peregrine Falcon, Barn Owl, Robin, Song Thrush, Balckbird, Wren, Pied Wagtail, Puffin. All the stamps are denominated at 30p and contain a phosphor tagging. The 150x110mm sheetlet is printed by Irish Security Stamp Printing Ltd in Lithography, the stamps sized 24.13x27mm with perforation 14x15.
