To repalce the Wetland Birds definitive issue, Australia Post will issue a new definitive series depicting the coastal nature of Australia. The first four stamps of this series picturing costal flowers were released on April 8. The Flowers are Guinea Flower, Native Fuschia, Australian Bluebells and Beach Morning Glory.

The stamps were designed by Wayne Rankin, printed by SNP Ausprint and Pemara Label Group with offset lithography. Stamps size 30x25mm, with perforation 13.86x14.6.

The stamps are available in sheet of 50 stamps, self-adhesive booklets of ten, self-adhesive rolls of 100 and 200.
