Guernsey Post issued on August 4 the third part of his definitive serie: Maritime Definitive. The first two parts were issued in 1998 with one value and in 1999 with 14 values. This third part consists three stamps with values 20p, 30p, and 3 pound respectively. All stamps in the series feature marine boat. The 20p value features a Dart 18 racing catamaran, the 30p stamp depicts a 30ft Bermudan-rigged sloop, the kind of monohull which serves not just for racing but for travelling around the English Channel and beyond, and the 3 pound value features the Oriana, the 70,000 ton cruise ship which is the jewel in the crown of the famous P&O Lines.
