2001.07.12    Australia International Post Definitives - Panoramas of Australia
Four stamps issued on July 12 with value of one each 50c, $1.00, $1.50, and $20.00. The new stamps  extend the range of International Post definitive stamps introduced by Australia Post in June 2000. The newly issued 50c, $1.00 and $1.50 stamps feature the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Murrumbridge River of Australian Capital Territory and Port Douglas of Queensland respectively, and are scheduled to replace stamps of equivalent denominations from the Great Southern Land issue of June 2000. The $20.00 stamp, featuring the Uluru of Northern Territory, completes this definitive range of stamps and provides a large denomination stamp for use on overseas post, including parcels. The incription "AUSTRALIA" appeared on this high value is in gold foil. The stamps are all available in gummed sheet, for 50c stamp, there is format of self-adhesive booklet of 10.
