| On Jan. 2, after the euro Marianne definitives, France Post issued
two precanceled Orchid definitives. The two stamps, valued at 0.29 and
0.33 euro respectively, feature the Orchid Bourbon (Ophrys fuciflora)
and Insulaire (Orchis insularis). The precancel are printed in the
right lower corner of the stamps in a postmark like inscription "La Poste
2002 OBLITéRé" ). The stamps are designed by Gilles Bosquet,
sized 16x23mm, printed in sheet of 100.
