Let's start of somewhere simple, say...the graphics? How are the graphics you ask? AMAZING!!! My computer can't pull off this stuff, correction: My computer can never pull off this perfection! This game is absolutely amazing, from the minute you see a single character model you are tossed into the world of Soul Calibur.
I got this game practically the day it came out, I saved up my money for month for this game, this game was my SOUL (sorry for the pun) reason for getting the Dreamcast.
Okay so the game looks pretty what else? Let's see, the mission mode is purely addictive, the backgrounds look amazingly real, The close up's of the female characters are enough to make any man drool! Characters move realistically, with fluidity and like a dream come true. But best of all, there are the individual character kata's. The moves were motion captured and show off the character and his/her weapon. And even later on can be watched whenever you want when the option is opened up (sure, I can't read kanji when playing mission mode but it's basically straightforward).
In conclusion, if you're against Sega...and your thinking "ahh the DC is gonna suck like the Saturn," try Soul Calibur. You'll be dying to get a DC just for this game.{SCORE: 10/10}
