BACKGROUND SUMMARY

My "core-competence", so to speak, is the line of marketing. I 
have held positions that have honed my skills on most aspects of handling 
consumer/ retail products and, to some extent, as well as financial 
services. I believe that I would be most effective in a job that will 
stimulate my creativity, encourage generative learning and systems 
thinking, and hone my ability to make decisions.

My job centered on comprehensive Brand Management. I was responsible for 
managing the all the aspects of my assigned Brands from the birth of the 
product concept, to product and packaging development, product launch, 
media and below the line advertising strategy, brand monitoring and all 
the way to category management and trade relations. Moreover, my job 
entailed close coordination with the different departments, which include 
manufacturing, sales, research and development, corporate marketing 
services, and top management.

I was responsible for preparing feasibility studies on projects and was 
responsible for "re-engineering" financial statements of companies to 
assess their eligiblity for funding from World Bank, Development Bank of 
the Philippines, Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund and the Asian 
Development Bank.

OTHER INFORMATION

 Just a bit of information on my other interests outside the 
professional world:

I enjoy motorsports and I am an active member of the Philippine 
International Karting Association. I have been competing in both local and 
international kart races and I have recently moved to racing saloon cars. 
In 1997, I was the sole representative of the Philippines to the World Cup 
Karting Championships at Suzuka Japan as endorsed by the Philippine Sports 
Commission.
