local Pension Fund and of a Bank Trust department to Citibank.

Summer Associate
Conducted a study on the Investment and Mutual Fund industry in order to
assess Citibank's Worldwide Securities Services(WWSS) potential target
market. Drafted a new Direct Custody proposal for specific Integrated Fund
Mgt Companies identified during the industry study.
PHILIPPINE NAVY, December 1996 - July 1997
Flag Lieutenant to the Flag Officer in Command, PN
Executive assistant and principal speech writer of the head of the Navy.
ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES, September 1994 - December 1996
Naval Aide de Camp to the Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines
Managed 110 personnel dedicated to the logistical, financial, security,
and administrative requirements of the Head of the Armed Forces. Planned,
organized, and participated in 5 high-level overseas defense cooperation
talks and AFP modernization program negotiations. Headed think tank
responsible for all speeches, reports, and policy papers.
PHILIPPINE NAVY, November 1991 - August 1994
Department Head
Managed the operations of three different functional departments aboard
three navy ships. Trained and led 46 personnel in 28 missions ranging
from an ASEAN training cruise to a naval blockade. Awarded 9
commendations and medals for various accomplishments as department head
to include various cost savings measures, efficient and innovative use of
government resources, and a consistently superior department rating.
OTHER INFORMATION
Sent by the Philippine government to train and work with the
Royal Australian Navy in Singapore and with the US Navy in Yokosuka,
Japan. Attended various financial courses conducted by the Ateneo-
Bankers Association of the Philippines (BAP) Institute for Banking.
