BACKGROUND SUMMARY
Four year consulting experience in the IT industry honed my project leadership and client relationship skills. This experience also provided me extensive exposure to the operational processes and functional requirements of banks not only in the Philippines but also abroad.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Unisys, June 1993 to June 1997 Information Services Consultant Coordinated with bank management teams in defining automation requirements for use by banking institutions in the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand. Specifically, handled solutions development for integration requirements of a 230 branch bank in Sri Lanka which encompassed the retail delivery, wholesale banking services and trade finance functionalities. Led multi-national project teams engaged in solutions development and implementation. Mentored and coached junior consultants. Engaged in project planning and control activities, including mapping out technical staff allocation and other resource requirements: hardware, cost and time estimates. Monitored projects across diverse geographical locations. Conducted training programs for systems users which included technical personnel and management both for local and foreign groups. Engaged in marketing support activities including client dialogues, customer presentations and bid proposal responses. Was awarded the following: Unisys Achievement Award for Excellence 1996 and 1995 Unisys Outstanding Performer of the Year 1994 Unisys Rookie of the Year 1993 De La Salle University, November 1993 to January 1995 Lecturer Taught Systems Analysis and Design to experienced programmers seeking to become analysts and taught Algorithmic Logic Formulation to professionals interested in learning computer programming.
