Golden Arches Development Corporation, 1995-1996
Financial Accountant
Completed reports on all stores (P&L, Stores Ranking, etc.) and General
and Administrative Expenses. These reports were different from the usual
accounting reports because analyses on key items were incorporated. These
reports were largely for the perusal of top management as well as the
formation of more efficient systems in day to day practices. Coordination
function during the strategic planning periods as well as monthly updates
on the status of accounts against budgeted for distribution to various
departments and units.
Accomplishments included putting in place a consolidated reporting
format. Given the number of stores in consideration, an automated system
was essential to allow for more detailed analyses and still keep the
reports relevant and timely. Also, analyses on G&A items led to a review
of the classification of accounts to increase relevance to specific units
and departments concerned. This in turn allowed for easier and better
