Astec International Ltd is in the business of manufacturing a range of
power supplies. It is a Hong-Kong based Multinational company with its
regional headquarters in Manila, and is listed on the London stock
exchange.
1.The project enabled me to critically examine the process of accounts
payable,visiting various plant locations in the Philippines and
Hongkong,studied the on the best practices in the industry and then
recommended the best system to the company.To my credit most of my
suggestions resulted in policy changes and immediate implementation.
2.Currently working on a project that entails developing and documenting
procedures for implementation of supplier hubs. This involves
understanding the different types of hubs, the use of JIT systems in these
hubs and a detailed analysis of the planning and releasing flow.

The plant is located in Andhra Pradesh, India.The company is in the
business of manufacturing and selling fertilizer grade urea. The flagship
company of the Nagarjuna group with a turn over of $ 375 million USD 1997.

documentation and procedural changes.
