BACKGROUND SUMMARY
My background is in finance, owing to three years in the
business. I also had experience in manufacturing, with Electronic
Assemblies, Inc. (an electronics subcontractor) and Manchem Industries (a
family corporation engaged in agriculture products). After my stint with
the finance companies, I believe that this type of industry is more suited
for me because I enjoy learning about different industries and dealing
with numbers.

All Asia Capital & Trust Corp., 1996-1997
As an Investment Officer in the Corporate Finance Division I was in-charge
of handling corporate accounts that applied for a long-term loan, a lease
package, or financial consultancy. I would occasionally market our
financial products to companies and meet with their representatives. The
exposure of an Investment Officer is quite challenging as we are exposed
to different types of companies with differing needs. We are also
in-charge of an account, from origination up to the disbursement of funds
and monitoring of the company.
East Asia Capital Corp. ,1995-1996
As a Financial Analyst of the Credit Division I was tasked to do financial
evaluation of companies requesting for short-term loans. This taught me
all about financial ratios, cash flow management, and how to tell if a
company is encountering liquidity problems. It was also challenging
because we had to monitor the performance of these companies to make sure
our exposure to them was safe.
Manchem Industries, 1993-1994
As a Marketing Manager I was handling one of the company's major products
and marketed this to provinces around the country. I was exposed to going
out of Manila and meet Agriculture officials in these different provinces
and provide them with the benefits of our product.
