PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
International Finance Corporation (IFC) - (June 1998 - August
1998)
Worked with IFC Manila as a Local Consultant. The project involved
identifying investment opportunities for IFC (the private sector arm of
the World Bank) in the Philippines in various industries.
Bank of America NT & SA. - (December 1995 to June 1997)
Joined Bank of America NT & SA, Mumbai in December 1995 as Operations
Manager. Completed one year as Manager of the Remittance Department,
Mumbai branch supervising six staff. Prior to that, completed six months
in various transactional banking departments, in the Wholesale Banking
group of the Mumbai branch. Worked on various deals with the Corporate
Banking division and conducted credit appraisals of the existing asset
portfolio of the Bank.
Citibank N.A. - (October 1994 to August 1995)
Completed one year in the Financial Control Department at Citibank N.A.,
Mumbai. During this period, was involved in the unit's routine activities
and also undertook some special projects such as: (i) Compilation of
Expense Summary for the month by various Cost Centres aggregating at the
country level. (ii) Participated in the preparation of the "Country
Operating Plan - 1996". This involved collating information from various
operating units and analyzing the variances to current year's plan and
forecast.
S.M. Kapoor & Co., Chartered Accountants - (July 1992 to September 1994)
Completed two years with M/s S.M. Kapoor & Co., Chartered Accountants.
Worked on several auditing and taxation assignments in various companies
from textiles to chemical and paper industries.

Recent activities: Currently working on a project (thesis) with Argosy
Partners, Inc., a private equity investment firm in Manila. Argosy's

Represented AIM at Harvard Business School - "1998 Harvard Asia Business
