BACKGROUND SUMMARY
Has been involved in health related projects which have been
funded by international agencies. Due to the nature of these projects,
has been asked to perform a number of different functions. These
functions include (1) strategic planning, (2) project management,
implementation and monitoring, (3) budget control and (4) human resource
development.

Responsible for monitoring several local government units' (LGU)
compliance to set program benchmarks. Also responsible for assisting
these LGUs in (1) developing their strategies, (2) suggesting activities
in accordance to the agreed upon strategies and (3) preparing budget
summaries such that these activities may be carried out.
Was also tasked with coordinating LGU activities with activities of the
national government and other NGOs. At this time, conducted several
program orientation workshops for LGU and national government executives.
Also prepared a number of reports which analyzed the maternal health and
family planning practices of the LGUs in the NCR, Region 4 and Region 5
areas.
WHO and DOH HIV/AIDS National Strategy Development, April, 1995 - Dec. 1995
Technical Writer
Responsible for developing a national strategy on HIV/ AIDS. To
accomplish this, we conducted a number of consultative workshops across
the Philippines. During the process, also conducted extensive research
on related topics.

graduate and undergraduate level.
