Philippine Telegraph and Telephone Inc.,(PT&T) and Capitol Wireless Inc. (Capwire), May 1998 Special Consultant Created a 10-year financial model for Capwire, a P1.5 billion-asset telecoms company, for use in the financial restructuring process. The model included a 10-year cash flow and income and balance sheet statements. The output of the model was used in successfully negotiating a standstill period with the company's creditors. Participated in negotiations for debt moratorium and eventual restructuring of the company. Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas(Central Bank of the Philippines ) January 1995- September 1997 Bank Officer II , Department of Economic Research - Monetary and Macro Analysis Group Undertook research and regular monitoring of monetary and macroeconomic variables. Drafted position papers for the central bank on economic policy issues submitted to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the regional association of Asian central banks (SEACEN) as well as to Congress. Monitored and analyzed economic data (e.g. exchange rate, inflation, monetary aggregates, banking statistics, real sector data). Recommended monetary policy action to the Monetary Board thru weekly, monthly and quarterly reports. Planned, organized and participated in Technical Secretariat of conferences and seminars of the IMF, the SEACEN and other international development institutions. Drafted speeches for the Central Bank Governor.
