BACKGROUND SUMMARY

I am seeking a job which will allow me to utilize my Liberal Arts 
education and the skills aquired during my M.B.A.  Upon graduating I 
entered into service as a volunteer with the United States Peace Corps 
which exposed me to a variety of different cultures, language, and 
business settings in Central and South America.  I began an import/export 
company dealing with this region which I ran for three years before 
enrolling at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.

business.  Began company with no previous experience in the textile or 
import/export business and grew revenues from 0 to $275,000 in three years.

Responsible for all operations inherent to running a micro-enterprise.  
Began the asphalt maintenance company while in college and was able to 
finance 85% of my education.  Currently responsible for the management of 
employees, forecasting, training, sales and marketing.

 I am an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoy scuba diving, treking, 
fishing, skiing, golf, and cycling.
