There once was a girl from Hopewell
She worked on nights with Ruth and Jim King
Truth be known she did everything.
Her name is Brenda Hayes
She came from nights to days.
Days used to be quite a bore
Then she arrived, "I am woman hear me roar!"
A mixed or crossed shipment meant someone would pay
"We can't let this happen," Brenda would say!
"This is unacceptable," she'd say with defiance!
"After all, it's not rocket science!"
The meetings Brenda held could not be beat
We always left with some kind of treat!
Jimmy's leaving as pressline leader
Steve Cushman said, "Bren can do better!"
Even though she is quite modest
She is known as the "Daytime Goddess"
With her long blonde hair, she's a sight to behold!
She may be tough, but her heart's made of pure gold!
She has worked with a girl named Louise
Who always did as she pleased.
Her sidekick, Tim, is big and burley
Under her leadership now has tattoos and drives a Harley.
Linda S. made our meetings finer
By preparing refreshments better than a diner.
Dreama is our gardner, Pat is our stripper
Now there is Vic and Lonnie, who are our cutters.
Packers are Pam, Nodia, Dixie, Rhonda, Carole, Gloria and Lawanna
Your guess is as good as mine as to why they would wanna.
Linda A., Chris and Lois are dignified and refined
Makes you wonder if they are in their right mind.
In our department games, Cabel is our man
He can get you an hour off if anyone can.
Now where is Alex you might say
But we can't find him until the end of day.
At the end of the shift as everyone walks out
"It's Miller Time!" you could hear Brenda shout!
Her Miata does one eighty-five
And that's just leaving the parking lot drive!
This woman named Brenda is a superior boss
The press rooms' gain, the bindery's loss!
This has all been in fun
Like yesterday when we all received a can of nuts for being "nuts"
Employees take after their leader so that took a lot of guts.
