2000 Open Enrollment
Active enrollment period is November 1 - November 12. A few key changes include:
If employees want the same coverage, they do not have to do anything.
Use of internet access for enrollment.
Eligible pay for life insurance, and LTD will include recurring bonuses and commissions.
A new administrator for the medical and dependent care accounts.
If employees do not enroll, they will default to a PPO3 coverage and they will need to call in to the service center to cancel.
Employees MUST call in to enroll in the medical and dependent care accounts each year....can't transfer their enrollment from year to year. This year there is the addition of a $25.00 minimum for enrollment in the medical reimbursement account.
Communication:
DeluxeCHOICE-eligible employees will receive the following communications:
Newsletter 1, will be distributed by facilities, will introduce DeluxeCHOICE 2000 and describe the benefit plans and key plan details for the coming year.
Newsletter 2, will be distributed by facilities, will describe the new technology available and the Internet and telephone enrollment processes.
The DeluxeCHOICE 2000 Annual Enrollment Guide, will be sent to employees homes, will detail the benefit plans and the enrollment process.
An enrollment worksheet, will be included in the Enrollment Guide. It will provide a personalized report of employees' flexible credits that help pay for coverage, available benefit plans and options and their corresponding pricetags, their Personal Identification Number (PIN), which employees will need to enroll for 2000.
