I appreciate the access to minutes of the Annual Meeting your site provides. It is most difficult to travel to Pasadena in the middle of the week to attend, and the summaries save me the trip. I assume that Sir Royce is the Royce Value Fund representative at the Wesco Meeting, one of the largest shareholders.

This is a good site for someone starting out on the Berkshire journey. I am a huge fan of Munger's in that he balanced Buffett's enthusiam with his stoic confidence in capitalism and its progressive nature. He is also Keynes like in his long term approac to stock ownership. That you are learning this vital information while an undergrad is impressive. If you don't already have it, the next thing you will need is a stomach. The stomach to handle a 20% decline and remain confident. Further, the stomach to let go of Buffett nd Munger's hand and try selecting stocks on your own. I have a partner who glorified recently in buying an issue he saw recommended in a monthly and bragging it was one of his best investments. I frankly don't believe this took any skills to listen to hat someone else recommends you do. What about a stock that you sift out of the rubbish that is much of Wall Street and recommend to somebody? Lest I continue on my soap box. Good luck and make a million.

My uncle died & I am exec of his estate. I am trying to learn as much about the stocks he has as I have to decide when to sell them (sometime before July). Some Bell Atlantic stock was eschewed to Mass. because he had moved to an assisted living home. The paperwork was sent to the State Treasurer in March & that dept. is very slow in returning the stock to the estate. I know that there is a wealth of info on the net & I am trying to get help.
