My Computer is a Troubleshooter !
( Computers are a Man's best
Friends )
My room doesn't become comfortably
warm during the winter season.
Neither in degrees of Celsius,
nor Fahrenheit.
Never did. I resigned already
over the years.
I even have tried it with the
heaters replaced.
No success.
But I couldn't detect the spot
where the cold was coming in.
My good old computer has several
external devices attached to it,
among them a microphone, and
2 small speaker boxes.
Yesterday, when I needed some
more space on my overloaded table,
I decided to first remove my
micro, which I don't use often, anyhow.
Full success.
I gained some square inches
of space,
but not for long, I needed it
for a new packet of cigarettes.
But still much more of success
to tell.
When I removed the micro, I
stowed it in a dead angle on my window sill,
as I didn't want to de-install
it forever.
I must admit, it was a cold,
rainy, and windy evening.
Surprise, surprise !
Suddenly I heard the storm outside
over my speakers !
Boosted up to double, or triple
loudness at least.
That was like SoundBlaster to
the power of 3 !
Like in good old Western movies.
Conclusion.
Now I know where the cold comes
in.
But still don't know how to
fix the bug.
At least my computer aided me
a lot in problem determination.
He has got a warm hug from me.
