Fax From William to JG January 10, 1998

Dear Jim, Ok, it's Saturday January 10, 1998 and I'm sorry for my lack of communication, however things over here have been rather intense. The check is real and made out to Vanette and island properties. I have enclosed a copy of the letter of authorization that we issued for release of funds. It is a bank check and is clearable. We took a copy of the check and have already verified funds through Midland, Barclays, and Lloyd's banks. Believe me that was not easy.... We are looking at finding a credit agricole bank since Vanette already has an account there it might be easier. I will be free to call you openly Monday so at that time please keep your cell phone on and you beeper clipped to your body. May need your help tax wise and strategy wise since I'm finding that the rules have changed extensively and I have been having a time at adapting. It's been a real experience, Yet the Nigerians have not been as much of a problem as anticipated. Except customs holds them for up to two hours or longer, surprise surprise.... On other fronts, Ramsey wrote T.V.I.G a check for $118,000.00 that bounced on December23, 1997 he tell he'll make it good and take the funds to sand key office, which he fails to do, obviously that's why John's check bounces even though we continue to make deposits after the c heck was returned. Well anyway I'm also enclosing a letter that I sent to Jeff McDowell via Kelly at sand key branch spoke to Kelly briefly and everything is stable there. Should be home by no later than Wednesday, hopefully sooner. As for the message I got from Brad about everybody getting nervous about my absence, you need to believe in me and start backing what I'm doingjust because I don't always keep in touch doesn't mean anything has changed, just like when you disappeared for, 9 weeks, how soon we forget.... Believe me I wont be gone that long. Tell John that he just will have to trust, me and that all is fine, very fine and that all is being straightened out. I will be sending you faxes to forward to everyone. As for uncle zeeks, I can't be around all the time and some things take precedence, will be addressing that in a fax to be forwarded as well.
