Objectives:

1) To provide a forum for a discourse on topics related to economic and business environment. The topics covered will be of interest to professionals in all area of business: finance, marketing and information systems. This forum may be addressed by professionals who may or may not have graduated from IBA..

2) To provide a platform to assist IBA alumni, who are new immigrants, integrate into the economy. This would include, guiding them with professional and career development strategies, and social and emotional support..

3) To provide a resource base for the alma mater and Pakistan, to support improvements in the economic and educational systems.

Mr. Pervaiz has had a distinguished career in banking. He has worked with Citibank and its affiliates, such as SAMBA. He moved to Canada about 4 years back and has strived to establish, a now successful, business in financial consulting. He will be sharing his experiences with us on the trials and tribulations of setting up a service organization in competitive environment, such as Toronto.
