Boeing (US)
Boeing is a very long term investment. Boeing is one of the few aerospace companies that survived. Together with Airbus it controlles the market. Airbus would be a favourite too, but is not (yet) traded on the stockmarket. Boeing has big oppertunities when space travel kicks in. We expect this to happen within 15 to 20 years. For now Boeing is a steady investment with big long term growth.
Microsoft (US)
Microsoft is still a solide company. Their investments in the new media are huge, and they are going to be one of the internet winners, not only on software, but on all other fronts. They are starting to become more and more a new media company. The Time Warner of the new media. And since we belive that the new media will slowly intergrate with the old media, and dominate it, Microsoft will win big time.
SpaceHab (US)
SpaceHab is the company of the future. No other company looks at the comming changes in space in the way they do. Commercial exploitation of space stations. The future is with them. SpaceHab is a company like none other. Not a standerd NASA contractor. They do have the greatest potential for anyone who belives in Space technology.
Siemens (GER)
Siemens is a group with a good potential, specialy their mass-transit unit (trains, light rail, transrapid mono rail) will grow very hard and be very profitable. Also the powerplants they build are good for very high profits. It's a company that has both long term as short term prospects that look very good. They however have to restructure a lot and decide what their core businesses are.
HITT (NED)
Holland Institute of Trafic Technology. With the worldwide upcomming changes in Trafic and Infrastructure, they have great potential.
ICT (NED)
A small comapny that makes embedded software. Great potential, great market, as long as they can get enough personell.
Lernout & Hauspie (Bel)
A great company, the world leader in speach products. They make computers user friendly, and that market is huge. So a great short and medium term investment.
FLV fund
The FLV fund is not like other funds. It invests in the Flanders Language Valley. This FLV is like the Sillicon Valley of speach products. Founded by Lernout & Haupsie they invest in all kind of corporations that are in some way connected with speach products. So if this market goed well, like we think it will, they are in it all the way.
