Vdo Live Vdo Net simultaneously broadcasts streaming audio and video over the internet by use of their decoder. The video can be viewed with your browser or as a floating window. Over a 28.8 connection, the images are good, but can be slightly choppy at times and audio usually sounds great. VdoNet has a guide that shows which programs are available to viewers. Vdo Net sometimes broadcasts live space shuttle missions as well as current newsclips of the day.
Xing Streamworks Xing can deliver audio or video (or both at the same time). Over a 28.8K modem, the image quality is not as good as Vdo Net, but the sound is pretty good. There is a listing of sites offering content for Xing Streamworks at Xing's website.
