Community Service Activities
Eric Johnson AIDS House
Throughout the spring, the Montville Township High School
chapter of FBLA will be participating in a community
service project with the Eric Johnson AIDS House, a
Morristown based service organization in which volunteers
help cook meals for AIDS patients living in the house. We
are planning a number of trips in the evening with small
groups of officers and members to visit and cook for the
small group of men living in the house. In addition, we
are planning a fundraising event to support these
volunteer efforts.
March of Dimes
In the United States, one out of every fourteen babies is
born with a birth defect. The March of Dimes Birth
Defects Foundation is dedicated to the mission of
improving the mortality rate of babies by decreasing the
rate of birth defects, low birth weight, and premature
births, which is the leading cause of death.
Throughout the school year the FBLA school store sold
Otis-Spunkmeyer Cookies and Ozark Delight Lollipops. A
portion of the proceeds will be donated to the March of
Dimes.
