Millennium Bucks Meeting Minutes from March 15th

 

Matt Carr started the meeting by introducing two potential new members, Doug Ferriman and David Fusek

 

Jill McPhillips discussed the use of the member fees (slush fund).  Of the $30 per member, $25 will be put toward operating expenses of the club (software, membership dues etc.) and $5 will be allocated for petty cash.

 

A discussion over how to cash out Michael Guagenti and Kent Gay was opened.  Four basic solutions were brought forth….

1.                  Cash

2.                  Options

3.                  Options and cash

4.                  Sell options to generate cash for payout

 

It was decided to sell KEA at market open the next day and pay the exiting members cash.

 

An update of current holdings was next

 

Pat Shay began his presentation of Wells Fargo (WFC).  After a very thorough presentation, it was decided that WFC was a hold at this time.

 

John Leahy is scheduled to present Tellabs (TLAB).  All members were asked to do an SSG and we would go over the SSG in detail at the April meeting

 

The May meeting was set aside to go over “Watch Stocks”.

 

Doug Huffman volunteered to present at the June meeting.
