Welcome to the AT&T Information Page

This web page allows you to download an Excel workbook that can be very helpful to current and former AT&T shareholders — especially those who held AT&T stock in 1984, at the time of the breakup of the Bell System.

The workbook consists of a set of several worksheets, each dealing with the equity changes that have taken effect for AT&T shareholders from 1958 to 1999. The worksheets cover the following:

Note: As of Feb. 21, 2000, this workbook has not been updated to reflect the SBC/Ameritech exchange, or Vodaphone's 5:1 split in 1999. Otherwise the workbook should be complete and accurate, subject to the following notes:

This set of worksheets was created by synchronicity, and posted by phooley.

synchronicity's notes on the worksheets:
I have tried my best to ensure that all information contained herein is accurate, but mistakes can creep in to any set of data. If you spot something which appears amiss, please contact me! I will doublecheck the information and make corrections if necessary.
Which brings up another point. Although I do a have a background in tax law, these sheets should NOT be construed as legal advice, or as a substitute for a trained tax professional. These sheets are offered merely as a calculation aid for AT&T shareholders. Please consult with an appropriate advisor before takng any actions regarding your AT&T holdings.
For additional information, be sure to check the web sites for the various companies, or contact their Investor Relations department.
I hope you find this helpful. Any feedback is appreciated.
