So far, the Parlor, located at the church, is the probable location for the reception following the wedding ceremony. This is an elegant, ornate room in which cake, punch, and refreshments (whether or not we will be able to serve a full meal is still to be determined).
The music for the event will consist of a live band, including long-time friend of the bride, and more recently, the groom, Marian Parker. He will play an upright bass and/or an electric bass, and will assemble the rest of the band himself. They will play mostly jazz, with the occasional love songs of our choice. Also, there will be carefully chosen tracks played on tape or cd while the band rests. The following are some song choices being considered now:
