GLOBALS: the final stage
We finally arrived at the site of our competition. After a year of competition it all came down to eight minutes! We hoped to amaze the judges and the audience, and when we performed, it was our best ever. After our competition, we parted with our East/West Berlin sign and added it to the RBDTT (The really big duct tape thing).

As the global judges watch closely, our crane sets up the Berlin Wall.

   "I'm the coolest of all,
   cause I'm building this wall...
   I divided this city
   But I feel no pity...."

The older sister, Anne, persuades Gretel to believe the angel is talking to her.
After our star performance, we get the picture of the whole team. No autographs, please!
This is the RBDTT before it was covered by the props of teams from all over the world!
As you can see, the RBDTT grew to large proportions before we added our West Berlin sign to the pile. (It's up in the left-hand corner.)

On Saturday we had our instant challenge. We were so relieved that we were done!  We knew we did the best we could. At the party after closing ceremonies, we found out we had placed 14th which is excellent for globals! The next day we went home ending our DI experience for the year. We will never forget this awesome experience!!
