*STATES*

Here we are at the second stage of our competition. We were soooooo excited to go to Central Michigan University to compete. After instant challenge, we went to our central challenge and performed well (we hoped). Then we waited... and waited... and waited. Then finally, at the awards ceremony, we found out we took second place and were going to GLOBALS! We were also proud of the 6th grade team from our school who won the DaVinci Award for creativity.

Here's the angel on the Brandenburg Gate expressing her feelings to the audience.

"I am the angel on the Brandenburg Gate,
The city I guard is full of hate.
Watching over Berlin is what I do.
There were two little girls who needed to get though.
The Berlin Wall is what I mean,
1961 was the year of the scene...."
