Maxwell Infant Rites Saturday
McConnelsville - Funeral services for Marthlyn Maxwell , two-month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. (Merle) Willard Maxwell of Malta who died yesterday at her home (she died February 24th, 1949 on a Friday) will be held at 2 o'clock. Saturday afternoon at the Miller funeral home with Rev. Carl Hicks officiating. Burial will be in the Wolf Creek Cemetery.
The child has been ill since birth.
Surviving in addition to the parents are the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Roberts and Mrs. Stella Maxwell.

Funeral Tuesday -
Funeral services for Pamela Maxwell, 14-month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Maxwell of McConnelsville who died of pneumonia Saturday night at her home, will be held Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home here. Burial will be in the Wolf Creek Cemetery.
The father is stationed at Ft. Eustis, Va. Surviving in addition to the parents are the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Roberts and Mrs. Stella Maxwell, all of Malta and the great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hill. (Mina's parents)

Stockport Man Dies Suddenly
Charles L. Hill, 79 of Stockport, former Muskingum resident died suddenly at 9 o'clock Saturday morning of a heart attack suffered while working at the Bud Fitch Farm in Penn Township, Morgan County. Mr. Hill was born November 2nd, 1878 in Morgan County the son of John L. and Lorenda Wilkins Hill. He operated a farm for many years in Muskingum County before moving to make his home with a niece, Mrs. Lionel Roberts of Stockport 16 years ago. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. His wife, three sisters and a brother proceeded him in death. (Note from me: If that was his only brother it must be Mina's father Jesse.) The body was removed to the Miller Funeral Home in McConnelsville.
