Wow! This was an awesome reunion! It was really a lot of fun. Steve Landerman was president this year, but I think he pawned the responsibilities off on Mindy Beeler though. Ha! Mindy and I worked together for about three months getting this planned. She asked for my help, and I was very happy to! I love doing the reunions! I enjoy doing the activities the best.

Anyway, it was VERY hot but we just kept going and tried to ignore it. For the kids we did the Balloon Pop Game, Fishing Game, and Clothes Pin Bottle Drop Game. We had pop n' toss, football, basketball, kickball, and all kinds of other sports games. There was also frisbee, coloring, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk.

 The "Guess Who" game was a lot of fun. That's where everyone tried to figure out who was who from old baby photos. A lot of people tried that. I don't think anyone got ALL the pictures.

Then towards the end we played Family Feud! The teams were - Team 1: Mindy & Doug Beeler, Bruce & Andrea Cryder, Chris & Jo Cryder, Maygan Beeler, Ardella Landerman, & Evelyn Cryder. Team 2: Vickie Lynsky, Dona White, Pat & Billy Colbert, Dan Robinson, Omar Herbon, Jackie (for a short time), Austin Short (an alternate), JoAnn Jago and Charlie Lynsky. If I missed anyone on either team, I'm sorry! I know I have missed someone! Please let me know if you were on a team and I didn't count you. Here were the questions we had:

Name an occasion you would send flowers to someone.
Name a major expense for a wedding.
Name something you might give at a baby shower.
Name a chore siblings might fight about who's turn it is.
Name an occasion that a family sits together.
Name a place you go to be alone.
Name a privilege that comes after you turn 16.
Name something you might find in a military care package.
Name a type of cookie.

I hated to "ding" (meaning give them the big "X") the sisters (Evelyn and Ardella) but I had to be fair! Mindy seemed to like to hit the bell before I was done with the question and so did my husband, Omar! Cheaters Cheaters! I messed up Dona's answer and I'm awaiting hate mail now! But all in all it was great fun doing that with everyone.

We hope everyone had a great time and plan on coming back again next year. Next years officers are JoAnn Jago - President, Jackie Toeller - Vice-President,  and Mindy Landermaan - Treasurer I'm hearing that reunion will be held in Crooksville.

Some other ideas that have been tossed in:
Having the reunion every other year. (my opinion, what if someone dies before you see them again. I think the older people really enjoy this)

Pay-to-play BINGO (this would pay to play to help get some more $$)
