Special Todd Show Photo Gallery

In February, Todd Rundgren brought his "With a Twist" tour to a club in Petersburg (naturally, we had a pre-show party). The premise was that he was a lounge singer in a cheap Tiki lounge. On stage were a bar and tables, and lucky audience members got to watch the show onstage. Having seen the show in DC in November (and being a Todd afficianado), I knew to find Al the bartender before the show and volunteer my services. Turns out I was able to score the highly sought-after role of the drunk, and got to watch the second and third sets onstage. Thanks to Greg DeBruyn for the photos.

The next series of shots is the "bit" where I get drunk, hit on the babe, babe throws drink in my face, I clean up, I despairingly lay down on the bar and Todd pats my head, and Steve the bartender helps me out.
