The Walter's Chapel site is a loving memorial to Roland Brooks (Babe) Felts, my father. The third son of Lelia Mae Perry and John Columbus Felts, brother to Orval, Eugene and Mildred Felts Morris, husband of Lou Ellen Holmes Felts and father of six: Helen, Nancy, Linda, Brooks, Bruce, and Lori. "Daddy" died August 23, 1998 and is buried at Walter's Chapel Cemetery on the same ground he played upon while attending the Walter's Chapel School.

This site is dedicated to the decendants of this pioneer community so that they might know "from whence they came" with special thanks to those who have shared information: Rita Carrington Beeler, Jim Harrison, Bill Cranford, Chuck Mayfield, Maelene Hudson, and Audrey Jennings Jones.
