By its very nature, faith, like love, defies definition. However, we can examine faith by studying the attributes of one who possesses faith. Much like blowing leaves and waving limbs prove the presence of invisible wind, so we can discover the presence of faith by the evidence of the fruits of faith. Faith is a unique, intangible seed that, paradoxically, produces tangible plants. Each new crop of fruit contributes to the outward proof of faith—yet only those in whose hearts faith lives truly know how real it is, and how beautiful.
