Farcical version of Chekhov's "Uncle Vanya" set in Australia. A man spends his life toiling on an Austrailian farm to support his sister's arrogant, genius (?) husband. The story comes down to a drama about ego, vanity, lust and the anguished cry of the good man who worked so the silly man could play. At the end of his life, it's not too late to meet and love a beautiful woman.
