| PRAYER REQUESTS: | ANSWERS FROM GOD: |
Winter 1999: Uh-oh, I am on the waiting list for residence in Fall 1999--if I don't get in, I need to find a place to live by the end of August. Please pray that God would provide the best place for me. |
Spring 1999: Yaay! I found a place not too far from campus! Gonna live with a friend of mine from my cell group in CCF =) |
Winter 1999: After a meeting with some members of the Church of Christ, I am ashamed to say that I need to hide God's word in my heart as much as I can! Merely saying okay, I will memorize some Bible verses will not do! Some of you have no idea what we, as Christians are up against. We need to stand our ground and when the day of evil comes says Ephesians 6, to stand firm and fight with God by our side! We need to build a solid foundation as a child of Christ and most importantly, we need to pray! |

Fall 1998: Please pray that I will somehow be able to get home in time for Christmas--the notion of spending Christmas here is not that um, pleasant. And please don't make me haveta stay on stand-by again! |
Fall 1998: COMING HOME FOR CHRISTMAS! oh well, $300 less in money for my family to use, but God will provide! P.S. I can't wait! I need a break from this place! |
Fall 1998: Please pray for my friend; pray for her faith. Pray for me as a "counsellor" suggested that I speak to her because I am her friend, about the most important relationship she can have: Jesus Christ. I lack the confidence as I do not know where to begin to share this with her. |
Fall 1998: Got a chance to share my testimony today (Tuesday, December 8, 1998)! One of my cell group people met up with my friend and I for lunch. He got a chance to share his testimony as well. Found out that some feel that the only thing they cannot accept about Christianity is the fact that they would have to sacrifice a lot. Hmm, which made me think, isn't that kinda like being in a boyfriend-girlfriend/husband-wife relationship? |
Fall 1998: This is a general prayer request. After meeting many people here, I've observed that many who have been forced to go to church or to similar services when they were younger, seem to have rejected Chrisitanity just because they were forced. I have a few people in mind, and I am sure you know a few people too. Perhaps they were students who went to a "Christian" school because of the high reputation it had. . .I ask that you would pray for these people. That somehow they will give God another chance. |
