My family, our house and garden.
My family.
I am married to Hannelise, who works at a Pharmacy in Copenhagen. In her spare time she is a Girl Guide (KFUK), and has been that more than 35 years.
Our eldest son, Torben, is 17 years old, and studies at a High Scool. He has been a Boy Scout (KFUM) for 10 years, is a member of a swim club and enjoys Role Plays, Fantasy Games and the like.
Our youngest son, Rasmus, is 14 years old, and goes to a public scool. He has been a Boy Scout (KFUM) for 7 years, and share the same hobbies as Torben.
Our house and garden.
We live in a suburb 15 km north of Copenhagen, where we have a small house and a small garden.
When you have a small garden, you cannot grow large trees and the like, but we have been able to put in a lot of specials in the 200 square meter garden we have.
We can enjoy ourselves at our sunny terrace, where we have an aviary with Canarybirds singing all year around.
We have a rock garden where I have my alpines collection, and next to that we have a small garden pond. That attracts a lot of animals and insects, which is very nice.
As an alpines collector, I am a member of the Alpine Garden Society, both the danish and the english branch. When we are visiting Swiss, we can combine our interests. We love to trek in the mountains there, take pictures of the trains, the flowers and the beautiful nature.
At the moment I am building the tracks for a garden Railroad thru the beds. It is supposed to be a integreted part of the garden. The only structure is a 2,7 m long truss bridge across the pond.
