Important information about these pages.

These pages are translated from the original danish pages, which were made by Steen Spile in april 2001.

As a big fan of tugs I missed a homepage with danish tugs, and decided to make one myself.
But before that, I should get a little knowledge about HTML, so I started programming with some fancy tools, but found that they made a lot of unnecessary codes. Then I got some booklets about "handprogramming" in HTML, and started that. It's quite simple to write it yourself.
Also collecting updated material about the ships takes a lot of time, but that investment pays when a lot of people gets access to it.
I have chosen to write about Svitzer first and when time and information comes go on with other companies.

A little about the technique behind these pages.

All HTML codes are written in Windows Notepad.
The pages are tested in Internet Explorer 5.0 and Netscape Navigator 4.03.
My own photos are taken with:

From medio 1971 to 1978: Asahi Pentax Spotmatic.
From 1978 to 1993: Asahi Pentax ME.
After 1993: Asahi Pentax MZ-5.
Papercopies are scanned with a Mustek Scanexpress 6000.
