Tasida stood sadly on the balcony of a large, dark castle. In her hand, she held a single red rose. She knew this was wrong; she didn't care. People like her, goddesses, weren't supposed to fall in love with mere mortals. It was an unspoken rule they had amongst themselves. But still, Tasida was falling in love.

She couldn't bring herself to stop loving him. He was so gorgeous, and so kind and loving. All she wanted was at least one night with him, to get to know him- making love didn't even have to be part of it. And to achieve this, she knew that she must change her appearence slightly, so that he would not recognize her as the great goddess. In altering her appearance, she became less of the stunning beauty she was and more of a mortal beauty, much simpler than the goddess she was.

Taking a deep breath to calm her racing nerves, she knocked softly upon the door. Howard slowly answered it, unaware of who was behind the door. He greeted Tasida with a small smile.

"Can I help you?" he asked softly, taking her in. He was surprised to see this beautiful stranger at his door, but welcomed the sight of her.

"Maybe," Tasida whispered, looking down at the ground. Howard raised his eyebrow but led her into his room. "Um," she stammered, sitting down daintily on his huge bed. Looking into his eyes deeply to draw a sense of confidence, she continued. "well, I guess I have a little secret for you. Over the past few months, I've watched you from afar. Just now I realized how much I truly am falling in love with you," she explained.

Howard smiled, "Well this is a rare surprise, indeed. We must explore this love, mustn't we?" Tasida smiled gently. Howard pulled her into his arms. Softly he whispered in her ear, "What is your name, madam, that I may call it out?"

"Many names have I," she replied, "And my true identity shant be revealed."

"What then, am I not to call your name?" he asked, tracing the outside of her ear with his sensous tongue.

"If thou insits, thou can call me Tanya." she said softly. He moved his lips to touch hers gently. Willingly she permitted his tongue entrance to her mouth. His tongue gently explored the deep cavern of her mouth, caressing her tongue softly, before he pulled away.

He reched behind her and, hesitantly, pulled at the strings which held her dress in place. As they loosened, the dress started slowly to slip down her small figure. He pushed it off her shoulders, letting his hands roam and caress every avaliable spot of bare flesh. He hesitated as he reached the small mounds of flesh. She placed his hands over his, encouraging him. He massaged her breasts softly, slowly.

Pulling away from her, he pulled off his shirt and pants. They stared at each other momentarily.

He lay her back on his bed, making sure she was comfortable. She stared into his eyes, whispering softly, "Come make me your world, Come make me your everything, If only for this time. Come show me your everything, if only for one night*." He leaned slowly on top of her, bringing his lips to meet hers again. Their lips met with a searing passion.

Howard lifted up his hips, placing himself above her dripping center. Slowly he pushed himself inside her. Faster and faster he moved, echoing her soft cries of joy. He threw his head back as he felt his body shudder violently, emptying his milky white fluid into her depths. She moaned loudly in response, brought to her shattering orgasm.

They lay in each other's arms for several minutes, panting. Howard stood up at last, pulling Tasida up with him. "You should go," he whispered sadly. "I couldn't let you be caught here."

"Thank you," she whispered. "I hope to see you again, my love," she said forlornly as she quickly pulled her dress on. She knew, deep down in her heart, that they would never meet in person again.

Until the birth of Jessamyn, that is. After her birth, Howard and Tasida became close friends. After his marriage to Anne, though, she rarely saw him.
