This poem is dedicated to all the lonely and ignored.
Valentine's Day... A day for love.
One spends the day with a loved one,
Holding them close,
Never letting them go.
But yet, I stare across the room,
Fighting the stinging tears,
Wishing I knew the feeling
Of being loved.
A day for love,
So they say.
But what is it, really,
Other than a day for those
Who are unloved
To mourn in self pity,
To ponder if one will
Ever be loved
Again.
