Jessalin got into the small boat. Since no one else was around, the attandant waited another 5 minutes in case anyone showed up.
Across the park:
"Oh, fuck it," AJ murmured, standing up. He walked quickly through the park until he reached the boat Jessa sat in. He jumped in, smiling softly at her. She smiled faintly. God, she is so beautiful when she smiles!
Jessa snuck a glance at AJ. She bit her lip. He is so hot! she thought sadly, Why would he want to deal with a girl like me?
As the boat went off, AJ leaned back, deep in thought. When the boat suddenly lurched forward, he was completly out of it and thrown over the side of the boat. He sat in the shallow water, stunned. Jessa just looked at him, an amused expression on her face. "You ok?" she smiled.
"You think this is soooo funny don't you?" he joked. "My ass is very sore, if you must know." he laughed, trying to stand up, only to succeed in falling back down. They both laughed. "Help me?" he pleaded, making puppy dog eyes at her.
Staring into his brown eyes, she replied, "And get all wet? I think not!" she joked.
"Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaase," he begged, once again making a cute, pleading face at her.
AUGH! I cna't resist those eyes! They are too damn gorgeous! "Fine," she replied out loud, smiling at him. He grinned. She grasped his hand, pulling him up onto the boat. He lay on his back, trying to regain his breath. The sight of her face so near to his drove him crazy.
"What happened there?" he asked, sitting up. He ran a hand through his wet, purple tipped hair.
"The boat? I have no idea. Suddenly it lurched forward, then stopped. There must be some kind of technical problem." she replied.
"Oh, I see," he replied thoughtfully.
"Yea. I just better not get stuck here, cuz i HAVE to get home." she sighed.
"May I ask why?" AJ asked softly. Her clear blue eyes darted from his face to the figures around them, nervously.
