Prologue

Hello there. My name is AfterGlow; I am a faerie of sorts, one whose wings glow with the bright intensity of light flames.

My appearence does not matter at this point, however. I come to visit you mortals today with a song in my heart and a story on my lips. Many are the stories I have, few are the ones I will tell. These stories are unlike any other; yet they are so like some.

What I tell you today, I hope you will keep your hearts forever, and live out the stories each day of your lives.

And now I shall begin the stories. What is that phrase you use...? Ah, yes, once upon a time....
